About Sidetracked

Adventure, community and wild places.

Our mission is simple - to help more people experience the outdoors, challenge themselves and discover just how extraordinary adventure travel can be.

Why I started Sidetracked Adventures…

Sidetracked was born from a love of wild places and a belief that adventure should be accessible, welcoming and unforgettable.

What started as one trip skiing hut-to-hut in Finnish Lapland has grown into a community of adventurous people exploring the Arctic, Scandinavia and the Alps together.

Looking after wild places

Logo for Fortune Planet with large black number 1 inside a white circle with black border, followed by the text 'FORTUNE PLANET' in bold uppercase letters.

We want these places to stay wild.

That's why we:

  • Donate 1% of our revenue through 1% for the Planet

  • We make sure the donations go to effective climate charities like Clean Air Task force

  • Keep group sizes small

  • Empower our guests to travel sustainably

  • Encourage Leave No Trace principle

  • Continually review how we can reduce our environmental impact

We know we're not perfect, but we're committed to improving every year.
