A private trip gives you all the things we love about Sidetracked - incredible landscapes, brilliant local guides, small-scale accommodation and properly memorable days outside — without joining one of our scheduled departures.

We can take one of our existing itineraries and make it yours, or adapt the adventure slightly around your group's experience, interests and available dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most private trips work best for around 6–12 people, although this varies depending on the destination and accommodation.

    Got a smaller group? Still ask us. Some adventures work brilliantly with just a handful of people.

    Got a bigger one? We can often make that work too.

  • Absolutely - within reason.

    For many trips we can adjust the pace, add extra nights, include different activities or create a slightly different version of one of our existing adventures.

    We're not really in the business of building luxury sightseeing holidays or ticking off twenty attractions in five days. What we do best is active, small-group adventure travel with plenty of time outside.

    If that's what you're looking for, we're probably going to get along.

  • Private trip pricing depends on your group size, destination, dates and itinerary.

    As a general rule, the more people travelling, the closer the price tends to be to one of our normal scheduled departures.

    Once we know a little more about your plans, we'll put together a clear price for the group with exactly what's included.

  • We also create private adventures for charities, communities, businesses and hosted groups.
