Trip Overview
Chamonix is one of the world's most iconic mountain destinations and for good reason. Towering peaks, glacier views, alpine lakes and endless hiking trails make it the perfect playground for adventures.
Over the week we'll explore some of our favourite trails in the Chamonix Valley and beyond, from panoramic ridge-lines, hidden mountain huts and flower-filled alpine meadows. We'll spend our days hiking, dipping and soaking up mountain life before returning each evening to our cosy chalet.
No two days are the same, but every day is an adventure.

What to expect…
Day one / arrival day
Arrive at our chalet in the Chamonix Valley and meet your guide and fellow adventurers. We will then go through the plan for the week and enjoy dinner together.
Day four / day off
During the middle of the trip you will enjoy a day to yourself, Chamonix itself is a great town to explore with lovely cafes and shops. It also has an amazing spa. Or you can simply enjoy the quiet of the chalet with no scheduled activities.
Day two-seven / hike days
We will head out each day exploring a different trail each day, some days we will use the chair lifts to get up high, others we will hike from the door of the chalet. Each day offers something different. You will have time each afternoon to relax and wind down before we all enjoy dinner together.
Day eight / departure
There are no activities planned today so you are free to depart the chalet. Checkout is at 10am.

You should have a good level of fitness and feel comfortable hiking uphill for 2-3 hours at a time. Daily hikes range from 8-15 km with up to 1,000 m of ascent and descent, so you should be happy spending full days out on the trails. Each hike is optional though so if your legs need some rest then there is no pressure to join every hike.

Absolutely. Most of our guests join our trips solo and quickly become part of the group. Our small-group adventures are a brilliant way to meet like-minded people.

You'll stay in our beautiful alpine chalet in the Chamonix Valley, complete with comfortable shared en-suite twin rooms and stunning mountain views. We have a hot tub and a movie room, It's the perfect place to relax after a day on the trails.

We'll keep you well fuelled throughout the week! Help yourself to breakfast each morning at the chalet, then we will either prepare packed lunches or enjoy a lovely picnic on the trail. In the evenings we will enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner together each evening. One evening is left free for you to explore Chamonix's fantastic restaurants. You'll just need to bring your favourite hiking snacks for the week.

Accommodation is in shared twin rooms at our cosy alpine chalet. Private rooms are occasionally available for a single supplement - please get in touch to check availability for your chosen departure.

The nearest airport is Geneva, which is just over an hour from Chamonix. There are several bus transfer companies operating regular services throughout the day, with tickets typically costing between €15-€30 each way.

We'll meet at our chalet in Chamonix at 6pm on the first day of the trip. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know the group, chat through the plans for the week and enjoy our first dinner together.

Yes. Travel insurance is mandatory for all of our trips and should cover cancellation, medical expenses and adventure activities included within your itinerary.
